Why Bachelor of Science in Economics – Business

The Bachelor of Science in Economics offered online by the W. P. Carey School of Business provides students the opportunity to combine the expansive business curriculum required for all W. P. Carey degrees with a strong and stimulating core of economic theory and statistical methods. Students supplement business and economic theory courses with department electives that include financial, international, and labor market applications.

The B.S. in Economics offered by the W. P. Carey School of Business pairs economics coursework with an expansive business curriculum that includes a solid foundation in accounting, finance, management, marketing, supply chain management and data analytics. This rigorous combination of business and economics provides students with critical and analytical skills that prepare them for a wide range of careers in the private sector including business intelligence, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance.
